observations

from my mini vacation in tobago

we can find many ways to make ourselves miserable. the harder part is trying to unravel that misery to come back to a place of comfort in being.

you can be bored even in tobago.

a good beach trip is like alcohol: it makes you feel great! but without the hangover

if trashtalking was a sport, grouchy would be the World Record Holder.

sometimes it doesnt matter what other people are wearing - it matters how you feel about what you've got on.

a good boyfriend is hard to find.

its true: if you find someone attractive and they are drawn to you as well, anything they say sounds wonderful and sugar coated; but if the feeling is not mutual, anything that person says to you is received in varying stages of irritation. so sad.

double booking is never good. everyone involved always feels badly about it.

if given the choice, ALWAYS pick the shade over staying in bed. you'll regret being well-rested and hangover-free in the morning.

its hard to bathe in the sea without getting your hair wet. waves are quite uncooperative.

never overstay your welcome. places can get tired of you too. leave as soon as it your feelings turn from appreciation to boredom. because then appreciating your surroundings becomes work.
